POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Vacation Rental Reservation Specialist at Mill Pond Realty, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximizing revenue and occupancy levels. Your strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills will enable you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. By leveraging your knowledge of the greater Saugatuck/Douglas/South Haven area and your familiarity with online booking platforms, you will recommend tailored vacation rental properties to meet each guest's unique needs. Your proactive, can-do attitude and commitment to providing top-notch service will be essential in building lasting relationships with past and potential guests, encouraging repeat bookings and enhancing the overall guest experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and positively
- Assist guests and property owners with questions, concerns, and bookings
- Manage reservations and maintain organized records
- Recommend vacation rental properties tailored to guest needs
- Follow up on inquiries via phone, email, text, and online booking platforms
- Provide top-notch service by identifying opportunities to enhance the guest experience through add-ons, upgrades, and special services
- Proactively resolve guest inquiries and challenges with a positive, solution-focused approach
- Coordinate with cleaners, managers, and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Support administrative tasks, including processing payments and refunds
- Encourage repeat bookings by building relationships with past and potential guests
- Help maximize revenue and occupancy levels across booking platforms
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in guest services, hospitality, sales, or front desk operations
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication and listening skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using multiple computer systems and online platforms
- Knowledge of the greater Saugatuck/Douglas/South Haven area
- Familiarity with OTAs like VRBO and Airbnb is a bonus
- Flexible availability, including one weekend day, summer holidays, and occasional evenings for office events
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service

Hourly Range: $14 - $16
