POSITION SUMMARY:
Join our dedicated and hardworking team at Blue Ocean Vacation Rentals as a detail-oriented, reliable contractor, Property Inspector, and Preparation Specialist. In this position, you’ll be on the frontline of upholding our reputation for offering top-notch vacation properties.

Your day will be spent visiting our properties, using your eye for detail and commitment to excellence to ensure every home is maintained and prepared meticulously for our guests.
As our on-ground specialist, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive property inspections.
- Play a key role in the property preparation process before check-in.
- Work closely with our maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure each property shines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use online tools to schedule and manage property inspections.
- Conduct detailed inspections before and after a guest’s stay to ensure cleanliness, maintenance needs are met, and the overall readiness of the property.
- Assemble and verify property kits, coordinate with housekeeping for amenity replenishment, and perform final quality checks to guarantee guest-ready properties.
- Make properties guest-friendly by adjusting room temperature and lighting, ensuring electronic locks function properly, verifying cable TV and internet are working, and adding a personal touch with music channels set on TVs.
- Work closely with housekeepers and supervisors for efficient turnovers, especially for same-day check-ins.
- Promptly identify, document, and communicate any property issues to the appropriate team members.
- Prioritize overall cleanliness and ensure the proper stock of towels and linens.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years experience in property management, hospitality, or related industry preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid insurance.
- Must provide valid information for IRS Form W-9.
- Agree to a probation period of 4 weeks or less, with regular evaluations.
- Agree to be paid weekly as an independent contractor in a 1099 status.
- Willing to work part-time in off-season periods and full-time during peak season.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Wage: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience and achievement
