POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing vacation rental operations, including reservations, housekeeping, maintenance, and property care. You’ll lead and coach a team, anticipate issues, and keep guests and property owners delighted.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership, staying informed and proactive, ensuring operations run smoothly while modeling the high standards of service we deliver every day.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, coach, and support while working alongside the reservations, housekeeping, maintenance, and property care teams to ensure all work is done well and on time.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, vendor coordination, seasonal readiness, and urgent issues.
- Deliver 5-star service and hospitality to guests and property owners through clear communication and proactive problem-solving.
- Keep senior leadership informed with updates and key communications.
- Identify practical operational improvements through hands-on experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Leadership experience managing a team, preferably in vacation rental, property management, or hospitality operations
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, hands-on problem solver who takes pride in work and results
- Strong communication skills and comfort keeping senior leadership informed
- Tech-savvy with experience in property management systems or similar tools
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats while leading
Other Requirements
- Availability for weekends and occasional events or urgent situations outside standard hours
- Comfortable being hands-on, including walking properties and assisting on-site as needed
Schedule
- This role follows a set schedule to support consistency while still offering balance. Options include two consecutive mid-week days off OR one weekend and one mid-week non-consecutive days off.
- Standard hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM with a lunch break
- Peak season may require occasional overtime; off-season schedules offer more flexibility
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Base Salary Range: $60,000–$74,000 based on experience and fit. Exceptional candidates with significant, directly relevant industry experience may be considered above this range.
