POSITION SUMMARY:
Beachside Vacation Rentals is looking for a versatile Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in handling a wide range of property maintenance tasks to keep our homes in top condition for guests.
In this role, you’ll travel between properties to address issues that arise during or between guest stays, ensuring every home is guest-ready. From repairing loose cabinet pulls and wobbly tables to troubleshooting squeaky beds, Wi-Fi connectivity, and smart lock access, your work will directly impact the comfort and satisfaction of our guests. Applicants with trade skills in HVAC, pool service, or general handyman work will be especially valued.
Because we rely on technology to streamline operations, you must also be comfortable learning new software, using maintenance apps for communication and updates, and troubleshooting smart home devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Commute to and from properties to complete maintenance tasks to ensure our guests have a flawless experience.
- Perform various maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry.
- Troubleshoot and repair common household appliances and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Deliver needed items to guests on request.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to learn new softwares and technologies, able to trouble shoot wifi issues, smart door lock issues and communicate through maintenance apps.
- Basic home repair and maintenance skills are necessary.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous in your work.
- A quick learner with the ability to use apps.
- Organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior multitasking, decision-making, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish, a plus!
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience and achievement
