POSITION SUMMARY:
We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Vacation Rental Inspector to ensure our homes are guest-ready before every arrival. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in accuracy, and can spot even the smallest details that contribute to a flawless guest experience.
As an inspector, you’ll travel between properties, verify that cleaning teams completed the job to standard, restage homes for photos, identify maintenance issues, and confirm the property is stocked and prepared for incoming guests. iTrip provides all checklists and training — you bring consistency, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility.
This role offers flexible hours, but weekends are required due to turnover volume.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect vacation rental properties before guest check-in to ensure they meet iTrip standards
- Follow detailed checklists to verify cleanliness, staging, and property readiness
- Confirm linens, supplies, and amenities are stocked and correctly placed
- Restage and make minor adjustments to ensure the home matches listing photos
- Identify and report damages, maintenance needs, or missing items
- Communicate clearly and professionally with cleaning teams and property managers
- Document inspection results using provided systems or technology
- Lock/unlock properties as needed and ensure secure entry for guests
- Work efficiently between multiple properties during peak turnover days
- Maintain reliability, accuracy, and professionalism at all times
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standards consistently
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between property locations
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Comfortable working independently without supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform light physical tasks (walking, bending, carrying small items)
- Must be dependable, punctual, and available on weekends
- Experience in hospitality, cleaning oversight, or property care a bonus but not required
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Wage: $18.00 - $21.00 hourly
Schedule: Part-time: Weekdays are flexible, but weekends are mandatory
