At Daugherty Management, housekeeping is an art. It's not just about tidying up; it's about ensuring our vacation homes are immaculate and ready to impress at a moment's notice. That means managing your time efficiently to provide deep cleaning and making sure every corner shines. Your tasks will range from vacuuming and dusting to sweeping, mopping, and polishing bathrooms until they sparkle.

This includes ensuring homes are well-stocked, linens are neatly arranged, and amenities are kept in check, resulting in positive guest experiences and glowing reviews.

As a part-time role, it's perfect if you’re looking for flexibility that will allow you to manage other commitments. We’re a team environment, so depending on the size of the property, you'll work alongside a team of 2 to 5 (or more) dedicated housekeeping professionals to get the job done. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take full responsibility for the overall cleaning of vacation rentals upon the departure of guests, which includes retrieving and organizing supplies and laundry for each home before starting to clean
  • Perform property inspections prior to the arrival of guests to ensure all residences are in pristine condition
  • Use the provided checklist for each residence to ensure all areas have been cleaned and prepared to the required standard.
  • Use the correct, provided cleaning products for the relevant jobs and ensure hygiene levels are kept to a high standard.
  • Change all bed linens to a high standard, ensuring they are clean, unmarked, and presentable. Also, clean and stock the bathrooms appropriately.
  • Make sure all floors are vacuumed, swept, and washed as needed. Deep clean kitchen and appliances inside out.
  • Wash all used linens at the home or employer's shop before ending the clean.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • We value previous work experience in the hospitality field, particularly in roles related to cleaning, guest services, and operations.
  • Able to offer a solid employment history with a record of outstanding attendance and work performance
  • Able to prove employment eligibility within the United States if hired.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Wage: $17 - $20 based on experience and achievement

Schedule: Cleaning shifts usually begin at 9 a.m. and extend until 4 p.m. or beyond, depending on the day's workload demands.
