POSITION SUMMARY:
Our team at The Brighthouse is searching for a committed, part-time Vacation Rental Handyman to ensure our unique vacation properties are perfectly maintained for our guests and owners.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include various maintenance tasks, from addressing electrical and plumbing issues to repairing appliances to tightening door handles. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve in-home technology problems and maintenance issues will ensure our guests enjoy a stress-free experience. The ability to think on your feet and respond to emergency calls promptly and efficiently will also be crucial to ensure minimal disruption to a guest's stay.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tackle preventative maintenance and handle any issues that pop up, from appliance repairs and basic home repairs to urgent plumbing leaks.
- Respond promptly and professionally to service requests during a guest stay.
- Undertake light landscaping and groundskeeping tasks as required.
- Respond to after-hour calls and emergencies to ensure minimal disruption to a guest's stay.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic handyman experience in home repairs, including electrical and plumbing, is required, with appliance familiarity a bonus
- Able to handle emergency calls professionally and efficiently
- Property management experience is required
- Vacation rental experience is considered a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- Reliable transportation with 4-wheel drive is required for winter months
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Wage: $15 - $45 per hour based on experience and achievement.
