POSITION SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Territory Business Development Manager to help expand our footprint in key markets. This remote role puts you at the forefront of our growth strategy—identifying, engaging, and securing partnerships with vacation rental managers and local service providers. Sales efforts for this role will be focused on the Gulf Coast, East Coast of Florida, and Southern California. This role reports directly to the executive team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct in-depth market and account research to identify and qualify target VRMs
- Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to meet growth goals
- Secure and manage appointments, deliver compelling presentations, and close deals
- Promote adoption of the VayKLife platform and services in your assigned regions
- Support onboarding and integration for new VRM partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to help shape new service offerings
- Maintain up-to-date records and pipeline tracking in CRM
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- 2+ years of B2B business development, sales, or account management experience
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, LeadSimple), sales automation, and cloud‑based software
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinking with attention to deal details
- Self-starter with a passion for travel and the vacation rental industry
- Willingness to travel regularly to assigned regions
Preferred:
- Background in short-term rental or property management sales/business development
- Proven growth within the Gulf Coast, East Coast of Florida, and Southern California markets in the Vacation Rental industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Real Estate, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with industry trends, local market dynamics, and competitive landscape in vacation rentals
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 based on experience
