COMPANY OVERVIEW:

HostGPO is the first buying (or group purchasing organization “GPO”) for the short-term rental industry. Over the past five years, we have acquired thousands of members who collectively manage hundreds of thousands of vacation rental units across the United States and Canada - from AirBNBs to boutique hotels. Our members get access to our best-in-industry discounts on everything they need to furnish and stock their units (from furniture and mattresses to linens and toiletries).

Through our collective buying power, hosts with as few as three units and companies with hundreds of units alike have the potential to save money, streamline their procurement processes, and provide better guest experiences. POSITION SUMMARY:

This is not your typical outbound sales role.

We’re looking for an outbound sales hunter - someone who thrives on building pipelines from scratch, knows how to engage decision-makers, and is motivated by driving real revenue. You’ll be responsible for creating new opportunities, participating in key sales conversations, and directly influencing closed-won business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own outbound prospecting: Source and engage short-term rental operators and property managers across North America
  • Create and qualify leads: Conduct personalized outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and live events to generate pipeline
  • Run early-stage discovery: Identify prospect pain points and align them with HostGPO’s offerings
  • Book and influence meetings: Schedule qualified meetings and collaborate with sales reps in closing deals
  • Attend and represent at events: Travel to ~1 event/month, including trade shows and conferences to generate leads
  • Work cross-functionally: Collaborate with Sales Team and Managers to ensure a smooth handoff and long-term client success

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

  • Actively pursue new STR Operators and strategic accounts via outbound sales motions
  • Book minimum amount of qualified meetings per month with STR operators and strategic account leads
  • Meet sales quota of new accounts ordering and track / assist in ongoing relationship during first year / registered accounts through first year of purchasing through handoff to team
  • Represent HostGPO at 10+ conferences and events, owning in-person lead gen
  • Develop repeatable outbound sales plays that fuel scalable growth

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • 5+ years in outbound B2B sales, ideally in SaaS or a startup environment
  • Strong closing instincts - not just setting meetings, but helping drive deals to the finish line
  • Skilled at multi-channel outreach and comfortable connecting with C-level decision-makers
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — self-motivated, persistent, and goal-oriented
  • Open to frequent travel (~1x/month) for conferences and industry events

Preferred:

  • Bonus: Experience in hospitality, real estate, procurement, or the short-term rental industry
