POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly analytical Revenue Manager with a strong command of revenue management principles, market analytics, and pricing strategies to join our team. This role is ideal for a technically proficient revenue expert who understands the intricacies of market demand, inventory optimization, and dynamic pricing in the vacation rental space.
As our Revenue Manager, you will design and execute revenue management strategies, optimize pricing across multiple channels, and leverage data to increase occupancy and revenue per available room (RevPAR) across our properties. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll lead the charge in developing and implementing rate strategies, assessing market conditions, and utilizing advanced forecasting tools to ensure Cozi’s portfolio is positioned for maximum profitability and market share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Revenue Strategy & Rate Management: Develop and execute rate management strategies across Cozi’s portfolio, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize pricing and maximize occupancy and ADR.
- Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, events, and competitor pricing to identify demand periods and revenue opportunities. Implement strategies to capitalize on high-demand periods and adjust rates dynamically.
- Forecasting & Analytics: Utilize advanced forecasting tools and data analysis to generate accurate demand projections, rate recommendations, and strategic occupancy targets.
- Inventory & Pricing Optimization: Regularly review booking patterns and adjust inventory allocations to balance supply and demand. Manage and implement rate restrictions and room availability and optimize distribution channels to increase RevPAR.
- Channel & Distribution Management: Optimize listings and rate structures across multiple booking platforms, ensuring rate parity and consistency across channels to maximize revenue.
- Reporting & KPIs: Prepare and present detailed reports, revenue forecasts, and KPI analysis to executive leadership, highlighting trends, performance against goals, and actionable insights.
- Promotions & Campaign Optimization: Leverage eCommerce channels and promotional campaigns, refining strategies based on data analytics to drive occupancy and revenue.
Who You Are:
- Expert in revenue management, with a deep understanding of yield and pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and revenue optimization principles.
- Data-driven and highly analytical, with a passion for interpreting complex datasets and using them to drive strategic decision-making.
- Proficient in revenue management systems and tools (experience with Beyond Pricing and KeyData is essential).
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Results-focused, with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue, ADR, and RevPAR goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, or analytics within the vacation rental or hospitality industry is required.
- Advanced knowledge of Beyond Pricing is required; working knowledge of KeyData analytics is highly desired.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, and demand forecasting methodologies.
- 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major is preferred.
- Live in Central Texas with the flexibility to travel to our office in Fredricksburg to attend meetings.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $58,635 - $65,000
Bonus: Bonus opportunities based on individual and company performance
