Sprawling more than 13 acres on nearly 600 feet of gorgeous beachfront in Panama City Beach, the new Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort is currently and ready for the 2024 season with our outdoor resort pool. We are still building 42 custom vacation homes as well as our clubhouse with food and beverage venues, and upscale amenities, our direct beach access to transport guests and owners into the Margaritaville state of mind. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Revenue Manager is responsible for formulating and implementing long and short-term Revenue Management strategies to drive the advancement of Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) market share. Additionally, the Revenue Manager oversees the management of Online Travel Agencies (OTA) distribution channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze, identify, communicate, and execute revenue decisions based on daily, weekly, and monthly supply and demand forecasts, booking pace, competitive pricing intelligence, and market conditions to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor rates, positioning, strategies, and market dynamics, presenting appropriate action plans to management based on findings.
  • Understand macro and micro-economic variables affecting supply and demand in the local marketplace, using this knowledge to create accurate room revenue forecasts.
  • Provide insights into performance drivers beyond metrics, explaining factors and decisions impacting historical results to inform future strategies.
  • Conduct unconstrained demand analysis to determine the optimal business mix.
  • Analyze local events and activities to project their impact on revenue opportunities.
  • Develop short and long-term inventory forecasting.
  • Develop pricing strategies for both OTA and Direct sources.
  • Administer rate plans and conduct audits and maintenance on all systems (e.g., Synxis, Oracle) to ensure correct content and pricing across distribution channels.
  • Prepare Revenue Management content for monthly and quarterly Owner meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a growing service-based organization, with 3+ years of direct Revenue Management experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Passion, positivity, and flexibility in adapting to a growing organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to evaluate complex information from various sources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and brand property Management System.
