POSITION SUMMARY:

Evermore Resort in Orlando, FL is looking for a dependable and hands-on Resort Service Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, takes pride in their work, and is committed to creating a top-tier experience for every guest. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing guest accommodations, resort buildings, equipment, and grounds—making sure everything is running smoothly and looking its best.

In addition to handling general maintenance, you'll be expected to keep tools, supplies, and equipment clean, organized, and well-stocked. Following all safety and security protocols is a must, as is being able to clearly communicate project updates and tasks both verbally and in writing. Flexibility is important too—you may be asked to take on additional duties as needed to support the team and ensure a seamless guest experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to interior and exterior guest calls for service in a timely manner. Make repairs and/or provide service in order to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all facilities and property of the resort including but not limited to: Guest accommodations, buildings, machinery, equipment, grounds, roadways, signage, flooring, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, electronics, painting, drywall, HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and masonry.
  • Greet all guests and fellow Team Members as you see them. Speak politely and assist them as needed, making sure to answer all questions and providing appropriate directions. Respond in a courteous manner to all questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Operate with the property maintenance software program and properly updates essential information via the use of a smart device.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as needed on all items listed above and keep accurate records.
  • Complete maintenance and facilities tasks from work orders and/or electronic devices
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard free work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent education is required.
  • Vocational or technical training relating to expertise preferred.
  • 2+ years of resort maintenance experience
  • Valid Florida Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of performing role in a busy work environment
  • Proficient in the use of electronic devices and their applications such as cell phones and/or tablets
