Beach Village Resort is a 67-home resort, a coastal lifestyle community nestled in the heart of Orange Beach on Alabama’s beautiful Gulf Coast, located directly across from the sugar-white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. Designed with careful attention to integrating the natural coastal environment with active lifestyle amenities, guests and owners enjoy access to the beach and direct access to Gulf State Park. Beach Village Resort boasts truly world-class splash amenities that include a fun slide, zero-entry pool, and a lazy river in a beautifully landscaped central location, as well as a state-of-the-art pool pavilion boasting high-definition TVs and a movie setup for evening events.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Join us as the new Guest Services Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the front lines of BVR's exquisite resort environment and contribute to crafting an unforgettable guest experience. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the pool and resort, ensuring guests' wristbands are in order, upholding cleanliness standards, confirming everyone is in the right poolside cabana, arranging pool furniture, keeping an eye on floats, and handling various general upkeep tasks around the resort.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transporting families to and from the beach on our Jeep Shuttle.
- Monitoring the pool area and resort for cleanliness and safety.
- Light maintenance work.
- Setting up and tearing down resort events, such as movies at the pool.
- Ensure outdoor lighting is operating at the appropriate time each day.
- Lighting the pool-side fire pit at the appropriate time.
- Maintaining poolside umbrellas.
- Maintaining upkeep, cleanliness, and inflation of pool floats.
- Create and maintain a resort environment.
- Any other tasks deemed necessary by Liquid Life Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or resort environment is a plus.
- Able to perform light outdoor maintenance as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create positive interactions with guests.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to convey information in a friendly and professional manner.
- Meticulous attention to detail in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the resort.
- Diligence in monitoring and addressing any issues promptly.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly: $20.00 - $25.00
