POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Reservations Agent at Cinnamon Beach Vacations, you will be the first point of contact for guests, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience from the moment they reach out. Your warm, empathetic nature and genuine passion for hospitality will shine as you assist guests in finding the perfect vacation rental tailored to their needs.

In this role, you will provide personalized recommendations by actively listening to guests’ preferences and paying close attention to detail. Your strong communication skills and friendly, approachable demeanor will create a welcoming and seamless booking process, ensuring guests feel valued and excited about their stay.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for guest inquiries via phone, email, and booking platforms.
  • Assist guests in selecting the ideal vacation rental, ensuring a smooth and personalized booking process.
  • Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations while maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate check-in/check-out procedures clearly and provide prompt support during guest stays.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure properties are guest-ready.
  • Monitor and manage booking platform reviews, responding professionally to guest feedback.
  • Process payments, refunds, and security deposits in compliance with company policies.
  • Promote special offers and upsell additional services to enhance the guest experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of Experience in hospitality, customer service, or reservations (vacation rentals, hotels, or travel industry preferred).
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure when handling guest concerns.
  • Proficiency in reservation software and booking platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, PMS systems).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings and guest information.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Basic knowledge of payment processing and handling refunds
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $50,000

Bonus

  • Based on commission earnings and individual and company performance

Schedule

  • Thursday to Monday during season (January through July)
  • Monday to Thursday off season (August through December)
