POSITION SUMMARY:

We're looking for a Reservations Agent who is experienced and customer-focused, ready to elevate guest satisfaction and our sales targets.

Every day, you will be the welcoming voice representing our brand. You will manage incoming reservation communications, including calls, emails, and online chats. Additionally, you will follow up on leads that have yet to be booked through outbound calls. In an overflow capacity, we’ll also rely on you to address guest relations calls for in-house requests and follow up with work orders to promptly resolve any issues that arise during a guest's stay.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all reservation processes, including answering inquiries, processing requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, email, and online chat.
  • Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities, document special requests, and provide detailed information about properties and amenities.
  • Make outbound calls to leads and past guests, actively follow up on inquiries and update lead statuses to enhance guest engagement and bookings.
  • Respond to and resolve current guest issues during their stay, ensuring high satisfaction and timely problem resolution.
  • Handle payment transactions, including taking payments from guests and auditing third-party payment discrepancies.
  • Monitor and score call quality, track conversion rates, and coordinate with the marketing team to manage property promotions and occupancy.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures during reservation processes and assist the guest services team as needed to maintain service excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 24 months experience working in a similar sales role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong self-starter with initiative
  • A positive and friendly attitude
  • Excellent listening and customer service skills
  • Adept at learning online reservation software

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Wage: $15.75 - $16.75 per hour based on achievement

Pay Structure and Bonus: 

  • If you achieve the target of 75 outbound sales calls every two weeks, your pay increases to $16.75 per hour, totaling approximately $34,840 annually.
  • Including commissions, the estimated annual earnings can reach up to $41,090, equivalent to an hourly rate of $19.75. The annual pay range, considering commissions, varies from $37,260 to $42,840.

Schedule: Full-time hours from 9-5 pm. The schedule will either be Fridays & Saturdays off or Sundays & Mondays off.
