POSITION SUMMARY:

As our Reservations Agent, you’ll be the friendly voice and the organizational guru behind managing our bookings, ensuring our reservations are complete and accurate. Working closely with our dynamic team, you'll be empowered to bring your fresh ideas to the reservation process.

In this role, it will be crucial for you to professionally handle all daily correspondence, such as answering phone calls, returning voice messages, responding to emails, and following up with guests after their stay.

As a key member of our team, it will be vital for you to tune into the unique stories of our guests, ensuring their Park City adventure is meticulously tailored to their needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide superior service, assisting guests in choosing the ideal property from our collection, ensuring you have in-depth knowledge of each property.
  • Accurately handle and organize reservation details, ensuring prompt follow-ups, processing changes and cancellations, and preparing guest lists for arrivals.
  • Understand and implement selling strategies to maximize per-property revenue, aiming to meet or surpass targets through aggressive up-selling.
  • Handle correspondence with guests, travel agents, and homeowners while efficiently answering inbound calls and addressing OTA inquiries.
  • Prioritize in-house guest requests with urgency, logging special requests and ensuring they are accurately recorded in the PMS.
  • Demonstrate expertise about Park City, guiding guests with informed recommendations and up-selling strategies.
  • Collaborate with the SLV team on occupancy, rates, and reservations, ensuring a seamless transition of guests to the concierge team post-booking.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience within the hospitality industry is required. Vacation rental industry experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of pricing tools, Streamline, Vrbo, Airbnb, and OTA's is desired.
  • Proficient telephone etiquette and exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service role is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $35,000 - $50,000 based on experience and achievement

Bonus: Bonus opportunities based on bookings and target goals met.
