POSITION SUMMARY:
As our Reservations Agent, you’ll be the friendly voice and the organizational guru behind managing our bookings and ensuring our reservations are complete and accurate. Working closely with our diverse and close-knit team, you'll be encouraged to bring your fresh ideas to the reservation process along with ways to elevate our customer service.
In this role, it will be crucial for you to professionally handle all daily correspondence, such as answering phone calls, returning voice messages, responding to emails, and following up with guests after their stay.
Your capacity to listen and customize vacations will be crucial, whether recommending a local family-friendly adventure, suggesting the perfect venue for a romantic dinner, or pointing out the most scenic spots on the island.
As a hospitality specialist, it will also be vital for you to demonstrate patience and listen intently to guests to effectively meet their needs and requests, ensuring their Captiva stay exceeds their expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the office is opened and ready for phone calls by 9 am
- Answer incoming telephone and email inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Process all reservations and payments · Be familiar with all our rental properties
- Deliver quality customer service in all situations
- Respond to all guest inquiries with promptness and courtesy
- Deliver requests to the maintenance department in a timely and accurate manner
- Follow up on all guest service requests
- Direct vendors as needed
- Retrieve and sort mail
- Process incoming payments
- File paperwork
- Complete all administrative tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in working with computers
- Excellent computer and internet navigation skills
- Able to meticulously plan and execute details
- Must have a positive and friendly customer-oriented attitude
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Able to work with and understand multiple online software applications
- Able to work well and communicate effectively with other departments and vendors as needed
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Wage: $20 - $24 per hour based on experience and achievement
Bonus: An annual bonus is awarded based on performance
