POSITION SUMMARY:
If you’ve been looking for a full-time hospitality role and have excellent customer service skills, the Reservationist & Experience Specialist is your ideal match.
Your Role:
Guest Relations Champion: Manage guest, owner, and partner inquiries with precision and patience across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, text, and online platforms. Once our guests arrive, your responsibility is to ensure every aspect of their stay is impeccable. Address any requests or issues swiftly to enhance their experience.
Your ultimate goal is to ensure each guest fully enjoys their days at the lake - making every stay exceptional.
- Be a Connection Builder: Be the voice of our brand. Turn every reservation call into a memorable exchange that establishes lasting relationships with our guests.
- Team Collaborator: Regularly sync with the rest of the team to stay on top of everything related to reservations and guest experience.
- Property & Area Expert: Develop comprehensive knowledge of all our properties and the area, focusing on helping guests choose the ideal location for their lake vacation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the reservation process, including taking incoming calls and emails, ensuring accurate and timely entry of all bookings into the system, and confirming reservations with guests and property owners.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand and implement rate structures and specials to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Provide top-notch customer service to guests and property owners, answering inquiries and handling issues or concerns professionally.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Maintenance, to ensure smooth coordination between bookings and property readiness.
- Stay updated on property availability, local events, and attractions to provide informed suggestions to guests and aid them in their decision-making process.
- Additional office and/or administrative duties as needed according to the season.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years of customer service experience
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Adaptability to technology and app systems
- Knowledge of the area and willingness to stay up to date on local events and attractions
- A positive attitude, ready to roll up your sleeves to pitch in wherever needed
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Wage: $17 -19/hour based on experience and achievement
