Description

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Boulevard Stays is a fast-growing, branded short-term rental company operating more than 200 premium properties across the United States. We’re shaping the future of hospitality by combining the comfort of home with the consistency of a hotel - powered by lean teams, smart technology, automation, AI, and efficient systems.

We’ve hosted thousands of guests over tens of thousands of nights, and we’re on track to scale to 1,000–2,000 properties in the coming years.

Our Values

Better Together – We collaborate, support each other, and celebrate wins as a team.
Never Enough – We constantly refine, improve, and raise the standard.
Mean It – We keep our word and take ownership of our commitments and results.

If you naturally hold yourself to a high standard when you travel, and you want to bring that same bar to our guests, you’ll fit right in.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Property Operations Lead, you are the on-the-ground operational heartbeat of Boulevard Stays in Nashville. You’ll divide your time between our Downtown and Midtown properties, ensuring every unit looks, feels, and functions like a place guests are excited to stay.

There’s no typical day. One morning you may be auditing a cleaning team or handling a light repair; that afternoon you may be staging a VIP arrival or coordinating a last-minute issue. If you love variety, autonomy, and being the person people rely on to “just get it done,” this is your role.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You Think Like an Owner: You treat the budget and the buildings as if they were your own. You spot preventative maintenance issues before they become expensive disasters.
  • You Have "Traveler’s Eyes": When you travel, you notice every detail. You know the difference between "clean" and "hospitality clean," and you refuse to lower that bar.
  • You Are a "Smooth Operator": You stay calm under pressure. When plans change (and in hospitality, they always do), you pivot and execute without panic.
  • You Are Resourceful: You aren't a licensed contractor, but you know your way around a toolkit. You’d rather look up a YouTube video to figure out a repair than wait 24 hours for help.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the Quality Standard: Conduct rigorous post-cleaning inspections across Downtown and Midtown units. You catch what others miss—dust, misaligned decor, missing amenities. You don’t just flag issues; you ensure they are fixed before the guest arrives.
  • Drive Vendor Accountability: You are the local authority. You coach housekeeping partners on our brand standards and hold them accountable when quality slips.
  • Be the "Handy" Fixer: Handle light maintenance personally to keep operations lean. You are comfortable unclogging toilets, tightening furniture, changing air filters, and troubleshooting Wi-Fi routers.
  • Tech-Enabled Operations: Utilize our suite of mobile apps to document inspections, track inventory par levels, and manage work orders efficiently.
  • Champion the Guest Experience: Partner with our remote Guest Experience team to resolve real-time issues. When a guest is locked out or an appliance fails, you are the calm, professional face that saves the day.
  • Step In When It Counts: We are a lean team. On rare occasions, if a vendor cancels or a schedule falls apart, you are willing to roll up your sleeves and assist with a turnover to protect the guest experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ years experience in housekeeping leadership, property operations, or hospitality field roles (hotels or STRs)
  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and active insurance
  • Ability to travel between multiple Nashville properties (parking included)
  • Strong guest-facing communication skills
  • Smartphone proficiency and willingness to use multiple company apps
  • Flexible availability including weekends and some holidays
  • Ability to pass a background check

Physical Requirements

  • Walking/standing for long periods
  • Regular pushing, pulling, and lifting 30–40 lbs
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent bending, squatting, and kneeling

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $22–$26/hr with additional earning opportunities through bonuses/commission

Benefits:

  • Paid time off (PTO, sick days, vacation days)

Schedule: Full time 5 days a week with some weekends required.
