Description

Full-time, Daniel Island, SC

Are you ready for a rewarding career as an investment-focused property manager?

The Brian Beatty real estate family is growing! Due to overwhelming demand from our clients, we are adding the function of property management to our list of investment-oriented real estate services. That's where you come in.

The popularity of rental properties is growing across the country and in particular, Greater Charleston. We are looking for a special person to lead the property management operation while working alongside our sales agents.

Prior property management experience is preferred, but not required.

During your first 30-days, you are guided by our property management coaches to set up the operation (mainly administrative tasks). Then, you will be trained to help property owners optimize rental profits and grow the business through a unique, investor-focused business model.

If you operate and grow the business successfully, you will be rewarded ownership in the property management company for long-term service.

The focus of this position is working with and through others, building and maintaining relationships. There is a need for an effective communicator, someone who is able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns. There will be many different people to meet and work with. The person in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the business, agenda, and needs of others, including the company, its management, the team,  rental tenants, and property investors.

A persuasive style of communication is required to communicate the company's policies, programs, and systems. A faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detail work is a significant part of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently. This portion of the work will often focus on relationships with others; correct handling of details dealing with others is necessary to maintain and grow relationships. As time is usually a factor, the work must be done on time, as well as correctly. In general, this is a position where developing and implementing guidelines & structure is key.
