We are seeking an experienced individual for our Planning, Purchasing & Inventory Control team.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This individual will be a key member of the Mastercool inventory and procurement team. The main responsibilities of this role will be to work closely with the Procurement manager to provide development direction to a group of Purchasing, Planning & Inventory Control professionals. Other job-related duties will include working closely with Sales and Manufacturing to meet customer delivery objectives, optimizing labor & material performance metrics, and frequently interfacing with other members of the operational, engineering, and sales teams to address product- and customer-related concerns and opportunities for improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inventory management
- Material sourcing
- Supplier performance – including sourcing activities.
- Ensure materials / operational performance is in conformance with key metrics, including efficiency, productivity, product cost, quality, etc.
- Monitor ERP functionality with regard to Materials & Manufacturing to ensure data accuracy
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience sourcing mechanical, electrical, and electronic components and sub-assemblies from domestic and international (Far East) suppliers
- Knowledge of MRP functions within an ERP system.
- Understanding of bill of materials used to create a manufactured product.
- Proven capabilities in developing & maintaining supplier relationships
- Strong understanding of domestic and international logistics
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $70,000 - $90,000
Bonus: up to 1 MONTH

- 2 weeks of paid vacation per year
- Additional paid vacation: Mastercool is typically closed from December 25th to January 1st

- 401k Plan after one year of employment and at least 1000 hours worked – Employee deferrals match as follows: 100% match for the 1st 3% deferred; 50% match for the next 2% deferred; 100% vested from the start of deferral.
- Profit Sharing – depending on financial performance, Mastercool declares profit sharing, which is then added to your 401k plan, subject to the vesting schedule. Historically Mastercool has contributed 4.5 – 5% of employee salaries.
