POSITION SUMMARY:

As our part-time Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless operation of our vacation rental properties. In this role, you will ensure each property in our portfolio is meticulously maintained, safeguarding its value, and always ready for the next check-in.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating multiple departments, navigating operational hurdles, and upholding our high service standards. You'll also be our boots on the ground, visiting properties and overseeing repairs and maintenance to guarantee that our properties meet the OEV standard.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the travel and vacation rental industry and eager to grow within our dynamic company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Property Inspections:
    • Using a checklist, thoroughly inspect our vacation rental properties to ensure they exceed our standards and guest expectations.
    • Identify and report maintenance issues, coordinating with relevant teams for prompt resolution.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance:
    • Schedule maintenance and repairs, ensuring they meet safety standards and are guest-ready.
    • Coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective property cleaning.
    • Organize housekeeping tasks based on property turnovers and guest bookings.
  • Guest Services:
    • Handle end-to-end guest communications- addressing concerns and inquiries, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
    • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and propose process improvements.
    • Work closely with the management team to implement best practices and elevate overall operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Documented progressive experience in a previous role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Vacation rental experience is desired.
  • Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks, visit properties, and demonstrate flexibility and commitment to excellence in property management.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal abilities, coupled with a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Technological proficiency, especially with property management systems and various communication platforms.
  • Growth-minded, with the ability to be coachable and adaptable.
  • Weekend availability is required, and holidays as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly: $20.00 / hour

Bonus Details: Bonus opportunities are available based on individual and company performance.
