POSITION SUMMARY:

As SkyRun Kona Coast continues to grow, the Operations Manager is a pivotal leader responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and homeowner satisfaction. This role is both strategic and hands-on, overseeing daily operations, implementing streamlined processes, resolving escalated issues, and supporting long-term growth initiatives.

This role is ideal for an emerging operations leader ready to take the next step in their career and grow alongside a fast-scaling hospitality business. From the start, you will work closely with and have the support of the CEO as you learn the business, develop processes, and help strengthen the operational foundation of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead daily operations, ensuring strong cross-department coordination and consistent brand standards
  • Own property condition and readiness, performing arrival and departure inspections and verifying all amenities are fully functional
  • Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping, inspection, and maintenance teams while maintaining vendor partnerships
  • Deliver exceptional experiences for owners, VIPs, repeat guests, and media visitors, including concierge support
  • Oversee onboarding of new properties including punch lists, deliveries, setup, staging, and timelines
  • Plan and schedule work, manage seasonal maintenance, and respond quickly to guest or property emergencies
  • Track and document operational activity, monitor reviews, and respond to feedback
  • Support after-hours coverage and attend team meetings
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve processes, implement systems, and enable scalable growth

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience with direct reports in hospitality, property management, or vacation rental operations.
  • Team player, we all wear many hats
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven track record managing cross-functional teams (maintenance, housekeeping, inspections).
  • Hands-on knowledge of/experience with maintenance fundamentals such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping basics.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills with experience using property management and task software (PMS systems, Google Workspace)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; decisive and confident in fast-paced environments.
  • Results-driven leader who thrives under pressure, takes initiative, and enjoys solving complex challenges.
  • Reliable transportation & flexible schedule – weekends & holidays required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Annual Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 based on experience (plus quarterly bonus, based on operational performance)
