POSITION SUMMARY:

Become a hospitality innovator and leader in Traverse City, Michigan.

As the Operations Manager, you’ll be at the helm of Elevated Homes & Hospitality’s day-to-day operations. Reporting directly to our COO, you’ll take ownership of everything from housekeeping and maintenance to guest communications and vendor coordination. Your leadership will ensure the best possible guest experience, manage any challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented approach, and keep every property in excellent shape.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for property issues, ensuring seamless and prompt communication with the General Manager.
  • Oversee and support housekeeping and maintenance teams, upholding Elevated Homes' high standards.
  • Coordinate schedules, staff coverage, and daily workflows to ensure smooth operations.

Guest Satisfaction

  • Lead on-the-ground responses to guest inquiries, requests, and escalations.
  • Oversee property readiness for guest arrivals and departures.
  • Collaborate with guest communication teams to ensure exceptional service.

Leadership and Training

  • Mentor and motivate team members, fostering a positive and productive environment.
  • Develop ongoing training programs to enhance skills and operational efficiency.
  • Actively participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.

Vendor Coordination

  • Maintain relationships with service providers to ensure timely, high-quality work.
  • Handle vendor compliance and emergency coordination.

Emergency Response

  • Serve as the first responder to operational emergencies, ensuring swift resolution to minimize disruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in hospitality operations or property management, with a track record of success in hands-on leadership roles.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of property management systems (e.g., Breezeway) and short-term rental platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo).
  • Must be a proactive, action-oriented leader who thrives in dynamic settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, guests, and vendors.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 annually based on experience and achievement.

Schedule: April - Oct 2 days off - weekends required. November - March - 2 days off Days TBD - Flexibility to have 1 or 2 weekends off a month in the off season.
