POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re looking for an energetic, reliable, and experienced operations manager who can join our remote team as a member of our Operations Excellence department. Working under our Vice President of Operations, you’ll be responsible for managing and performing several aspects of vacation rental operations, including quality control and management of property inspections, cleaning tasks, workflows, property onboardings, maintenance tasks, and other areas of operations as the company evolves. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication, and superior organizational skills.

The position will involve heavy use and administration of the Breezeway task management platform, as well as the use of Monday.com, Slack, and the Streamline property management system. We need a self-starter who leads by example and creatively solves problems. You must be capable of thinking big-picture to help tie business strategy to daily operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing maintenance and cleaning tasks in the Breezeway platform for quality and completeness.
  • Managing Breezeway platform cleaning and inspection templates to ensure inspection and cleaning tasks are being completed to a high degree of consistent quality.
  • Collecting data for operations analysis.
  • Performing Quality Assurance functions across company operations.
  • Managing/Quality Assurance of property data in Monday.com to facilitate efficient operations across guest experience and field operations.
  • Serving as a remote operations manager for smaller operating markets including coordinating vendors for maintenance and cleaning.
  • Doing whatever it takes to help ensure company operations deliver a 5-star guest experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have at least 3 (preferably 5+) years of experience working in the short-term rental (Airbnb) space, doing either guest experience management or remote operations management involving maintenance and cleaning task management.
  • Must have experience working with a US, Canadian, Australian, or UK-based employer.
  • Must have experience managing small teams and processes.
  • Experience with the Breezeway Software platform is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Streamline Property Software is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Monday.com, and Slack is highly preferred.
  • Position will be full-time (40-45 hours/week).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Monthly Salary: $1,000 - $1,300
