POSITION SUMMARY:
The Night Auditor is a key overnight team member responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the resort during nighttime hours. This role combines guest service with accounting and reporting tasks, ensuring accurate end-of-day financial records, assisting guests with late check-ins or needs, and maintaining a secure and welcoming environment throughout the night.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform nightly front desk duties including guest check-in, check-out, reservations, and room assignments.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports for management, including occupancy, revenue, and shift activity summaries.
- Respond to guest requests, complaints, or emergencies in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor property security and ensure the safety of guests and staff during overnight hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding early departures or overnight incidents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in hospitality or business preferred.
- Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions during overnight hours.
- Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Breezeway, LMPM, Guesty, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly pay range: $18.00 - $19.00
