POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you a marketing pro who’s detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about hospitality, great food, and connecting with the community? We’re looking for a Marketing Lead to develop and execute high-quality marketing initiatives for a portfolio of renowned properties, including The Gibson Inn, Best Western Apalachicola Inn, Visit Apalachicola, and the Apalachicola Restaurant Collection (Owl Cafe, Tap Room, Franklin Cafe, and Parlor Bar).

This is a hands-on role in which you’ll lead digital marketing, content creation, promotional campaigns, and performance analysis to drive visibility, guest engagement, and revenue. You’ll ensure that all marketing efforts align with our brand identity and business goals, leveraging a structured, data-driven approach to achieve measurable results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute structured, well-planned marketing campaigns across digital and print platforms.
  • Ensure all marketing materials maintain clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Create and manage website content, email marketing campaigns, and social media posts.
  • Track key marketing metrics, analyze performance, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Plan, design and execute seasonal promotions, special event marketing, and campaigns for local community events such as luncheons and the SGI Brewfest. Drive engagement through property-specific initiatives tailored to the audience.
  • Oversee social media scheduling, engagement, and community interactions.
  • Represent The Gibson Inn at local events, ensuring a polished and professional brand presence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven marketing experience—preferably in hospitality, restaurant, or destination marketing.
  • Strong ability to analyze marketing data and translate insights into action.
  • Experience with social media management, email marketing, and website content updates.
  • Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) for creating polished marketing assets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of Apalachicola’s local culture, events, and tourism industry is a plus.
