POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Strategic Marketing Director for our leading vacation rental company, you will play a pivotal role in driving guest traffic and enhancing our market presence across targeted drive-in markets such as Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Birmingham, and Huntsville. Your expertise in SEO and PPC best practices will be crucial as you work to optimize landing pages, improve conversions, and refine our website sales funnels. By leveraging our guest database and developing effective email and SMS marketing programs, you'll work to increase bookings, enhance guest lifetime value, and foster referrals. Your strategic oversight will extend to social media, influencer programs, and OTA listings, ensuring that our marketing messages resonate and that our visibility and booking volume are maximized.

In addition to developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across various channels, you will be responsible for generating and analyzing marketing performance reports, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to senior management. Your role will also involve building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, coordinating with the reservations manager and vendors, and implementing revenue strategies to exceed performance targets. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive guest traffic from targeted drive-in markets (e.g., Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Birmingham, Huntsville).
  • Implement SEO & PPC best practices to enhance landing pages and boost conversions.
  • Optimize website sales funnels, including promotional strategies.
  • Utilize the company guest database to increase bookings, lifetime value, and referrals.
  • Develop and manage email marketing programs for lead nurturing, bookings, seasonal promotions, and exclusive content.
  • Enhance SMS marketing to improve booking value, guest review responses, and referrals.
  • Oversee social media strategies, including marketing messages, influencer programs, and customer referrals.
  • Increase positive reviews on company channels and OTA websites.
  • Forge partnerships to leverage customer databases, joint promotions, and exclusive content.
  • Optimize OTA listings to maximize visibility and booking volume.
  • Develop and execute revenue strategies to exceed targets and adjust based on property performance.
  • Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies across various channels, analyzing and adjusting based on trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Lead and coordinate with the reservations manager and vendors.
  • Generate regular marketing performance reports, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Optional: MBA or Master's degree in Marketing or Strategic Management.
  • Experience in the vacation rental industry is required, preferably with companies managing over 400 properties.
  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience, including experience in managing teams and projects effectively
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

  • Adaptable to changing environments and market conditions.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 based on experience, plus a performance-based bonus
