POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to join our team in Steamboat Springs, CO. In this role, you’ll complete maintenance tasks and projects across multiple worksites each day, ensuring our homes are well maintained and welcoming for guests and owners. Responsibilities include general repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections, as well as responding to guest work orders involving appliances, cable/Wi-Fi, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fireplaces, and other basic home systems. You’ll also handle painting, drywall, carpentry, debris removal, and upkeep of vacant units.
This position requires consistent follow-through on assigned maintenance tasks using our in-house system and prompt response to time-sensitive needs. You’ll maintain open communication with team members and management, attend required meetings, and assist colleagues as needed. On-call availability for after-hours emergencies is part of the role. Please note a Ski Pass is a bonus of this role!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete maintenance tasks and projects, traveling between multiple worksites each day.
- Respond to maintenance
- Appliance troubleshooting
- Cable/Wifi troubleshooting
- Basic HVAC repair
- Fireplace troubleshooting
- Light plumbing
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Paint, clean, and troubleshoot repairs inside homes.
- Drywall and basic carpentry skills.
- Create a welcoming environment for our guests and owners by ensuring our homes are well maintained via general repairs, preventative maintenance & inspections.
- Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with team members and management team.
- Be available and willing to assist your colleagues and management team when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year minimum of experience in a maintenance role.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be extremely detailed with outstanding communication skills.
- Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
- Must have a valid Driver License.
- Work weekends, holidays, evenings and on-call hours as required
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $27.00 plus a ski pass
