POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Maintenance Technician at CoziVR, you will be responsible for ensuring our properties are well-maintained, safe, and comfortable for our guests. You will tackle a variety of tasks, from minor repairs to preventive maintenance, using your skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC. Your attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to excellence will be key in providing an exceptional experience for our guests. You will work closely with our property management team to address maintenance requests promptly and efficiently, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify and address potential issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergency repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to guests.
- Maintain and repair appliances, fixtures, and other property features.
- Coordinate with external contractors when specialized services are required.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all properties are in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the property management team to improve overall guest experiences.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by your department manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in maintenance, handyman services, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the team and occasionally with guests.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Proficient with technology, including the use of specific tools/software relevant to the role, e.g., scheduling software, CRM systems, or mobile apps. Comfortable learning and adapting to new platforms and digital tools.
- Must have basic tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, etc. Company will provide special and/or other tools
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Range: $18 - $20
