POSITION SUMMARY:

If so, you might be the perfect fit for our team as a Maintenance Technician. We have year-round, full-time, and part-time positions available and are looking for someone who thrives on getting things done, loves staying active, and enjoys a variety of tasks throughout the day.

As our ideal candidate, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing detailed property inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Maintaining home systems, including HVAC units, pools, and spas.
- Troubleshooting digital locks
- Responding to emergency maintenance issues promptly and efficiently while engaging professionally with guests to minimize any disruption to their stay.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Commute between properties to perform routine maintenance inspections and various maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, tiling, drywall repair, pool and spa upkeep, and landscaping/groundskeeping.
- Assist with new property installations, including hanging and mounting art, decor, window treatments, mirrors, and light fixtures.
- Assist in overseeing third-party technicians when professional repairs are necessary.
- Maintain job site safety and security and ensure compliance
- Assume emergency on-call duty and special projects when assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs. A construction background or trade certification is a big plus but optional.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- A reliable car or truck is a must for getting to work, as well as a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. (Company vehicles are provided on the job.)
- Established residence on the North Coast or a solid transition plan in place. (Housing can be challenging to find, and living in your car isn’t an option for us.)
- Basic computer, internet, and typing skills are required. (Advanced skills are a plus but not necessary. You’ll need to be able to manage scheduling and document maintenance orders on a laptop comfortably.)
- Drug testing required, a failure to pass a drug screening (including marijuana) will remove you from consideration for this role
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
- Reach overhead and below the waist
- Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Wage: $16 - $25 per hour
