POSITION SUMMARY:
In this part-time Maintenance Technician role, you will be our behind-the-scenes hero, ensuring our properties are functional and flawless. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your days will run at a steady pace, where your commitment to precision and quality will ensure our properties are always guest-ready.
As the Maintenance Technician, you'll have diverse responsibilities that will keep your days interesting and challenging. Your days will consist of logging into our software (Breezeway) to methodically and meticulously move through your tasks. This could include conducting routine property inspections, responding to guest requests for maintenance assistance, coordinating with contractors for major repairs or renovations, and keeping detailed records of all maintenance work performed.
In addition to technical skills such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry knowledge, we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can get the job done in a timely and efficient manner. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize the Breezeway mobile app to complete tasks, conduct regular inspections efficiently and promptly report any issues.
- Coordinate with vendors as required.
- Ensure HVAC systems are operating smoothly.
- Verify functionality of all appliances and electronics
- Install and maintain smart locks
- Perform minor repairs such as fixing ice makers and unclogging toilets
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruption to guest stays
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated experience in property maintenance
- Proficiency in using mobile apps for task tracking
- Highly self-motivated and take pride in your work.
- Hands-on experience with installing hardware like door locks and thermostats
- Dedicated to creating positive guest experiences in every interaction
- Ability to see projects through to completion and meet deadlines
- Highly responsive and reliable nature
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Wage: $20 -$30 based on experience and achievement
