Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who’d love to work on maintaining beautiful vacation properties? We're seeking a proactive, thorough Maintenance Technician to join our team of professionals at Bluewater Vacation Homes.
As our Maintenance Technician, you'll be part of the backbone of our property maintenance services, ensuring that our guests and homeowners have REMARKABLE EXPERIENCES during their stay at our properties.
What does this role involve?
To succeed, your practical skills and problem-solving ability will be crucial in maintaining high standards. You'll be our go-to expert for repairs and maintenance.
Each day, you can expect to handle a variety of maintenance tasks, from basic plumbing and electrical work to maintaining appliances and HVAC systems. You will also be required to coordinate with your team and third-party vendors to ensure that all aspects of the property upkeep are met.

- Perform detailed inspections of properties to proactively identify and address potential issues, maintaining a high standard of property care and guest experience.
- Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry.
- Troubleshoot and repair common household appliances and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of pool and spa facilities, guaranteeing their safe and efficient operation.
- Act promptly to address and resolve maintenance issues and emergencies, using strong problem-solving skills to ensure minimal impact on a guest's stay.
- Interact professionally and courteously with guests to address their maintenance concerns and maintain clear, ongoing communication with team members about the status and requirements of maintenance tasks.
- Follow our safety standards and quality control in all maintenance activities, ensuring a secure and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.
- Skilled in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other related tasks.
- Able to troubleshoot and repair common household appliances with knowledge of HVAC system maintenance.
- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting pool and spa systems.
- Team player, able to respond to maintenance issues and emergencies promptly.
- Able to deal with guests professionally and clearly report maintenance statuses to team members.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections, ensure high-quality maintenance work, and always adhere to safety standards.
- Work diligently to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff and uphold high-quality standards in all maintenance activities.
- Technology-based communication with team members regarding the status of tasks and any necessary next steps.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $20-$30 per hour based on experience and achievement
