POSITION SUMMARY:
Sanders Beach Rentals is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing, and drywall. We're looking for someone reliable who can complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner, provide updates on maintenance tasks, and handle on-call duty shifts as assigned.
This role also involves managing daily correspondence and operational tasks effectively while interacting with property owners, guests, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are crucial for success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform property inspections prior to guest arrival and after guest departure
- Assess and repair interior and exterior issues including electrical, plumbing and drywall
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance request
- Plumb to include repair, replacement or installation of faucets, drains, supply lines, toilets, garbage disposals and clogged sinks and pipes
- Troubleshoot problems and replace filters in A/C and HVAC systems
- Repair drywall to include filling small holes and cracks and sanding
- Perform minor repairs on appliances. Replace and install major household appliances
- Paint to include minor touch ups following damage or as needed
- Provide updates on maintenance tasks, timelines and requests for additional help
- Write up detailed descriptions of work performed on each work order
- Cover on-call duty shifts as assigned
- Enter data and manage work orders in software systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years experience in maintenance departments (short term rentals preferred)
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License
- Ability to work flexible hours and required weekend work
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $22 - $24
