POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Maintenance Technician at Curated Vacation Properties, you will be an essential part of ensuring our Charleston, SC properties remain in top condition.

Your expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our properties is crucial for guest and owner satisfaction. We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes a proactive approach to problem-solving, and is dedicated to high-quality work.

The ideal candidate must be able to identify potential problems and make repairs before they escalate into larger issues. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest service issues, troubleshooting problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the property, including common areas, exterior spaces, and guest accommodations.
  • Collaborate with property management and other team members to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and necessary improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards while maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities.
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are properly stored and in good working condition.
  • Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a problem-solving mindset.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of experience in maintenance and repairs. Property management maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in various conditions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $25 - $30

Bonus

  • 10%, based on quarterly incentive goals

  • 5 days a week, with weekends required. 2 consecutive days off during the week. Flexible shifts.
