POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Maintenance Tech at True North, your mission will be to ensure all our properties are maintained to the highest standards. You’ll be the go-to professional for preventive maintenance tasks, emergency repairs, and innovative property improvement strategies. You'll flex your problem-solving skills daily, finding cost-effective solutions that uphold our commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.

We are also seeking an individual ready to step up into a leadership role, demonstrating the potential to progress into a Director of Operations. To be successful in this position, you'll need to be efficient and resourceful, able to build and manage a team of subcontractors while still focusing on quality and service improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interior and exterior maintenance tasks ranging from simple repairs to troubleshooting appliance issues.

Implement and track a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.

Source and supervise third-party contractors.

Ability to travel to other markets as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in property management, maintenance, or construction.
  • Experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or other trades is a benefit.
  • Must have a valid US Driver's License and a reliable vehicle.
  • Able to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Able to confidently solve complex problems quickly while controlling costs.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Availability to respond to emergencies on nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Range: $25 - $36 an hour based on experience

Bonus: Bonuses are based on milestones and performance.

Schedule: This is a 24/7/365 hospitality business, and you will be the overall person in charge of maintenance issues in your market, so there will be emergencies that require you to respond on the phone or in person on nights, weekends, and holidays.
