If you’re all about bringing great food to the table and love the idea of working shoulder-to-shoulder with our Kitchen Manager and Pitmaster, it’s time to join our tight-knit crew as Line Cook at The Smokehouse on Cape San Blas.
As a Line Cook in our kitchen, you’ll be part of the backbone of our daily operations. You'll dive into everything from assisting in large batch preparation of our smoked specialties to taking charge during the dinner rush with some fast-paced short-order cooking magic.
We’ll also rely on you to ensure our kitchen is spotless, jumping in on dish duty when the pile gets high and keeping an eye on the clock to make sure our food is not just delicious but on time. Your role will be crucial in making sure our guests leave with big smiles and plans to come back soon.
You'll succeed in this role if you love teamwork, work well under pressure, keep things clean and meticulously follow food safety procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Kitchen Manager and Pitmaster in large-batch food preparation
- Facilitate dinner service with short-order cooking during peak hours
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Participate in dishwashing duties as needed
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
- Collaborate with the kitchen team for smooth operation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a team
- Organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Punctuality and reliability
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Wage: $15.00

Schedule: Open seven days a week. Shifts will be available on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
