POSITION SUMMARY:

As our Director of Housekeeping, you’ll be the backbone of our Housekeeping Department. We’ll rely on you to assemble a rock-star team of cleaning personnel in-house, ensuring perfect turnovers between check-out and check-in so that each property is staged and ready to welcome our guests.

Daily tasks will include scheduling inspections, monitoring our cleaning supplies, and ensuring our equipment is in good working condition. This management role will also require you to perform administrative tasks such as budgets and overseeing payrolls. But most importantly, it will be up to you to lead a team of dedicated staff so that we can continue to exceed our guest's expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance and housekeeping procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Manage daily housekeeping operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and staff management.
  • Build a team of housekeeping staff, including recruiting, hiring, coaching, and dismissal.
  • Ensure the highest level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and address housekeeping staff performance issues.
  • Inspect properties between Guests.
  • Inspect the quality of the cleaning and provide feedback.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling cleans and monitoring inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a supervisory role, with a successful track record of managing and leading a team, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be bilingual.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 based on experience and achievement.
