POSITION SUMMARY:

StayCVP is seeking a detail-orientedd Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for cleanliness and a strong ability to manage and motivate a team. As Housekeeping Manager, you will regularly lead the house person team meetings on a weekly basis.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our properties, managing inventory, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional experience for our guests by maintaining impeccable property conditions. As part of your Leadership duties, you will ensure the team is following proper protocol for entering and departing guest properties and hold the team accountable when necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Order and manage the inventory of supplies, including linens, paper products, and cleaning products, ensuring that stock levels are maintained.
  • Plan and coordinate weekly schedules for the house person team, ensuring optimal allocation of tasks and efficient use of time.
  • Directly manage and support a team of house people, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of service.
  • Conduct occasional inspections of properties to ensure cleanliness, proper order, and overall appearance, and to model best practices for the team.
  • Manage the relationship with cleaning vendors, including coordinating services, addressing issues, and ensuring timely delivery and quality of work.
  • Support special cleaning projects and report any missing/found articles, damage, or maintenance concerns to management.
  • Schedule quarterly deep cleans and deep clean inspections of each property

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of hotel, vacation rental or hospitality experience
  • Experience scheduling a team based on volume
  • Experience managing relationships with cleaning vendors
  • Experience hiring support staff
  • Experience managing a laundry operation
  • Proficiency in Breezeway, Guesty, or other property management software preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
