POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to join our team. The Housekeeping Inspector will be responsible for conducting quality control checks of our furnished rental units after each cleaning to ensure they are guest-ready! This includes inspecting and staging the units, checking the housekeeper's work, organizing inventory and supply checks, running supplies to the properties as needed, performing small maintenance tasks, coordinating with maintenance vendors, and performing cleaning duties as needed to maintain our high standards of cleanliness. You must have great customer service capabilities, as you will be front facing with our guests.

The ideal candidate in this position has great attention to detail, is personable, organized, & friendly in their approach, but is also self reliant in spearheading on the ground tasks and inspections. The day to day consists of traveling to and from our properties within the area in conjunction with our booking calendar, so you need to be just as comfortable on the go as you are inside the properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diligently conduct regular quality control checks of rental units after each cleaning to ensure they meet company standards and guest expectations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide feedback and additional training to housekeeping staff as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality control inspections and documentation for damage claims.
  • Perform cleaning duties as needed to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in rental units.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly and on time, including vacuuming, laundry, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Coordinate with Property Manager & Maintenance Staff to address any maintenance or repair issues identified during cleaning.
  • Order and stock items in the owner's closet at each location, running supplies between properties
  • Track and report inventory levels in the inventory management system
  • Organize and maintain the owner's closets at each location.
  • Provide excellent front facing customer service to our guests to ensure a 5-Star rating.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have 2 years of experience in Property Management.
  • Preferred experience in short/mid term rental hospitality.
  • Preferred experience in quality inspection/quality assurance
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Possession of a Smartphone and willingness to photograph units, items, etc. daily
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff and guests.
  • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to pass a background test & drug screening
  • Able to travel throughout Macomb & Oakland County with your own reliable transportation
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience and achievement

  • Mileage and gas reimbursement
  • W2 or 1099. Whichever you prefer.

Bonus:

Schedule: 

  • Full time. Up to 48 hours/week. Part Time opportunities available as well
  • Rotating weekends off. Primary hours are from 10am-6pm but flexibility required based on our bookings.
