POSITION SUMMARY:
As our Part-Time Housekeeper at Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals, you will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our guests have come to expect. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for ensuring that our vacation rentals are thoroughly cleaned and well-maintained between guest stays. This includes cleaning and sanitizing all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues.
The ideal candidate should be able to start immediately. We are open to training the right person. We provide all cleaning supplies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and sanitize all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens in assigned homes.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.
- Change bed linens and make beds with fresh linens provided. (you will not need to do the laundry in the home)
- Empty trash and dispose of it properly
- Restock supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and toiletries
- Check for and report any maintenance issues or damages to supervisors
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within the designated timeframe
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and inviting environment
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently
- Physically capable of performing tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly: $20 - $25
Schedule: Must be able to clean homes between 10am - 3pm. Monday-Friday availability is needed with weekends and some holidays.
