POSITION SUMMARY:

Join our team at Myrtle Beach Destinations and help create exceptional vacation experiences for our guests. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our vacation rental properties throughout Myrtle Beach.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of a spotless, well-prepared home. Daily responsibilities include thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the property, changing and replenishing linens, towels, and guest amenities, and ensuring each unit meets our high standards before new guests arrive. You will also be responsible for conducting quality checks, reporting any maintenance issues or damages, and working efficiently to meet turnover deadlines between stays.

A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. If you are reliable, proactive, and take ownership of your work, we’d love to have you on our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Professionally clean vacation rental properties using cleaning procedures and products, within company standard
  • Removal and replenishment of all guest linens
  • Dust, mop, vacuum, sanitize, scrub, etc. all surfaces.
  • Restock all guest amenities.
  • Remove trash/debris.
  • Support special cleaning projects when requested by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Immediately report missing/found articles, damage, or other maintenance concerns noticed while on-site all properties to the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Follow proper protocol for entering and departing guest rooms.
  • Handle any additional and related tasks assigned by the Housekeeping Manager as and when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Prior experience cleaning private homes, vacation rental homes and/or high-end hotels and Inns is required.
  • Ability to communicate in English to management, co-workers, and guests both verbally in writing
  • Must possess a smartphone
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and have their own vehicle which can reliably transport them to work
  • Physical mobility and stamina are required. Position requires standing for long periods of time, climbing stairs frequently, and be able to lift and carry 30-40 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, it may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Candidates must be able to follow instructions, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong attention to detail, and demonstrate a professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor at all times with guests and CVP staff. Must be able to work independently and under minimal supervision.
