POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Housekeeper at Mike Z Rentals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our vacation rental properties are impeccably clean, well-maintained, and guest-ready. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. You will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and preparing properties according to company standards, managing supplies and amenities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines. This position requires a reliable and organized individual who can work independently and efficiently to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Property Cleaning and Preparation:
- Perform detailed cleaning of vacation rental homes, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and outdoor areas.
- Change linens, make beds, replace amenities, and restock supplies according to company standards.
- Empty trash, clean appliances, dust surfaces, and ensure homes are guest-ready.
Quality Assurance:
- Follow detailed checklists to ensure consistent property presentation.
- Report any damages, missing items, or maintenance issues immediately to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail in every property.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor property supplies and amenities and communicate restocking needs.
- Assist in maintaining linen inventory and reporting shortages or damages.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Follow company safety procedures and cleaning protocols, including the use of appropriate cleaning agents and PPE.
- Ensure all cleaning practices meet health and sanitation guidelines.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience preferred (vacation rentals, hotels, or resorts a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and company standards precisely.
- Reliable transportation to travel between properties (required).
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Compensation: $17 - $20 an hour based on experience
