POSITION SUMMARY:

A successful candidate for the Hospitality Coordinator will have an advanced skill set utilizing modern technology and a strong familiarity with the hospitality and entertainment options in the area. Above all else, you will be responsible for upholding and maintaining the level of service that Escape to Blue Ridge embodies in its employees.

This role will be a natural extension of who you are if you genuinely love to work with people, you’re great at problem-solving, and you have a passion for helping to create long-lasting memories for visitors to the area.

Our fast-paced shifts include plenty of interaction with guests, where you’ll spend most of your time answering inquiries via phone, texts, and emails from our guests. Your superb problem-solving skills will be relied upon to address any challenges with empathy and excellent listening skills. But, your professionalism will significantly impact delivering 5-star experiences through connecting with our guests during their stay to check in and see how their experience is going, as well as reaching out to them post-checkout to gain feedback and ensure everything was as they’d hoped.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide a high level of customer service to all tenants, visitors and guests
  • Utilize multiple technology platforms, including applications and software
  • Conduct Web and social media research for dining, entertainment, travel, etc.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the surrounding area (restaurants, bars, gyms, shopping, buildings, highways, public transportation, etc.), similar to a concierge
  • Assist client management with identifying partner/vendor contacts for tenants (e.g., local restaurants, hotels)
  • Be knowledgeable of the properties and current high-impact projects to assist guests
  • Build relationships and be a liaison to all key repeat guest contacts
  • As a part of the guest services department you will be expected to aid and assist with direct phone calls into the department, not just those pertaining to hospitality

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Customer service experience
  • Experience using Microsoft and Google products
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with customers and resolve any issues to their satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through
