POSITION SUMMARY:
Guest Services is the heart of the guest experience at Arrived. This team member handles inquiries, reservations, service requests, and post-stay communication with warmth, professionalism, and care. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives on delivering a high level of service to ensure every guest feels truly at home.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current guests via phone, email, and online booking platforms, providing friendly and professional support.
- Assist guests in selecting the ideal vacation rental based on their preferences, needs, and travel plans.
- Process reservations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all booking details are complete and up to date.
- Communicate check-in/check-out procedures, policies, and local area information to enhance the guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a timely and thoughtful manner to ensure satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure properties are ready for arrival and issues are resolved promptly.
- Monitor and manage booking calendars across multiple platforms to maximize occupancy and minimize errors or double-bookings.
- Maintain accurate guest records and documentation in internal systems.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or recommend services that enhance the guest’s stay.
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve the guest experience and internal processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or vacation rental reservations required.
- Proficiency with Streamline Vacation Rental Software or similar property management/reservation systems is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and bookings simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a calm and helpful attitude.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve guest issues efficiently and empathetically.
- Familiarity with the Hood River and Columbia Gorge area is a plus, or willingness to quickly learn about the region.
- Flexible availability, including some evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality or tourism is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $24-$27 an hour
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 9:00-5:30
