POSITION SUMMARY:

Salt and Sand Realty is searching for a high-energy, sales and customer service-minded Vacation Rental/Guest Services Representative to join our team!

As our Guest Services Representative, your day will consist of being the friendly voice, answering questions regarding vacation properties, taking reservations, generating reports, sending email correspondence to owners and guests, and performing various other guest/vacation rental tasks. You will also visit our beautiful properties to conduct thorough inspections before or after check-out.

This role is perfect if you have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the guest experience, engaging with them professionally and efficiently via phone, email, text and other communication platforms.
  • Follow up daily on after-hours guest concerns.
  • Engage with guests during their stay, making recommendations to enhance their stay and assist with problem-solving should any issues or needs arise.
  • Make check-in and follow-up calls to guests during and after their stay to ensure satisfaction.
  • Perform thorough property inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and stocked.
  • Report any issues to management as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Reliable, hardworking, honest, patient, punctual, and personable
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and efficiently
  • Must have the ability to problem-solve
  • Detail-oriented with great organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office products with the ability to learn new systems

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Wage: $15.50 - $18.00 based on experience and achievement

Bonus: Opportunity to earn commissions on specific sales objectives
