POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Seasonal Guest Services Agent at Retreatia, you will be the first point of contact for our valued guests, ensuring their stay is exceptional from start to finish. Your warm, empathetic approach and passion for hospitality will shine as you address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests by phone, email, and text. You’ll collaborate closely with our property management team to coordinate maintenance needs, communicate real-time updates, and ensure smooth daily operations.

With strong attention to detail and organization, you’ll maintain accurate records of all guest interactions and reservations while supporting additional tasks and projects assigned by the Guest Services Manager. This role is key to creating seamless, memorable experiences for our guests in the beautiful mountain setting of Steamboat Springs, CO. Please note that this position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and is seasonal, starting in October until end of March.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer calls, emails, and texts from in-house guests and team members.
  • Respond to reservation inquiries from potential guests, create and update reservations in the booking systems.
  • Promptly communicate updates and issues to guests and internal teams.
  • Report, assign, and schedule maintenance or general tasks to the property management team.
  • Respond to guest complaints and concerns with empathy, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
  • Troubleshoot common guest concerns and property issues.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all guest communications and actions taken.
  • Ensure all property information communicated to guests is accurate and timely.
  • Communicate real-time updates to guests regarding maintenance, HOA notices, and service schedules.
  • Maintain friendly, collaborative relationships with coworkers, vendors, and other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong Windows and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to stay calm, kind, and professional under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Please note that this position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and is seasonal, starting in October until end of March.
