POSITION SUMMARY:

As our General Manager, you will be at the forefront of leading our vision and driving our success.

This will include understanding our financial goals, collaborating with our Financial Controller, and mentoring staff to ensure they align with our values and mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the vacation rental operations, including guest engagement, human resources, financial performance, and program and facilities management.
  • Effectively communicate the vision, leadership, and strategy to support the goal of the Board with integrity, accountability, and dedication.
  • Work collaboratively with the Finance Controller and executive management team to develop and manage the annual budget.
  • Review monthly financial performance and articulate areas of variance and ways to enhance the financial performance and value to the organization.
  • Develop key leadership team members within the departments and guide their professional development.
  • Able to manage a seasonal employee hiring gear-up, training, and monitoring.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven management experience with a strong hospitality background is required; preferably in the vacation rental industry.
  • Vacation rental or resort experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with vendor management and contracting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
