POSITION SUMMARY:

At FairShare Vacation Rental, we’re looking for a General Manager to guide our team and drive our strategic vision. Reporting directly to the executive team, you’ll lead operations, develop innovative strategies, and ensure every aspect of our business delivers exceptional value.
In this role, you’ll take the helm of a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where your leadership will shape the future of vacation property management in Canmore and beyond. While you will be our Leader, you should not be afraid of working alongside the team, in our properties, and even getting your hands dirty from time to time! We are looking for someone with a “no job too small” attitude to help us give our guests the best possible experience and inspire our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring all processes align with strategic objectives.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects to maintain momentum and deliver results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, vendors and contractors, and team members
- Oversee property inspections, vendor coordination, and process optimization to maintain exceptional property care.
- Manage budgets and operational expenses, providing detailed reporting to support financial transparency.
- Resolve guest concerns swiftly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and fostering trust.
- Identify growth opportunities, spearhead new initiatives, and expand market presence.
- Set and track performance metrics, ensuring operational goals are consistently met.
- Lead by example, creating an employee training process and overseeing employee onboarding, fostering a positive, solutions-focused culture within the team.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, local regulations, and best practices.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and revenue management to enhance revenue streams and optimize guest experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years of experience in leadership with a proven track record of a results driven approach
- 2-3 years experience in property management, vacation rentals, or hospitality preferred
- A demonstrated ability to lead, supervise and develop a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive mindset, ready to adapt and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry-related software and data analytics tools is a plus.
- Experience with business finance, including experience managing KPIs, budgets and reading P&Ls required to achieve financial and operational goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Prior knowledge and experience with Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) highly preferred
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (BA or BS) preferred
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 based on experience and achievement
Bonus: Health benefits plus performance-based bonus
