POSITION SUMMARY:

Don’t miss this opportunity to step into a role where both your warm hospitality and sharp administrative skills can shine. As a Front Desk Agent at our Tremont Lodge and Resort, you won’t just be responsible for routine tasks; you'll be the face of our operations and at the heart of our guests' experience. This opportunity is for our second shift, 3pm - 11pm.

The mission of your day-to-day work will be to provide outstanding customer service, acting decisively and thoughtfully. Answering phone calls, welcoming guests upon arrival, assisting with checkin and making reservations are all important tasks you'll juggle while working as a team player across departments to ensure the day runs smoothly.

Always presentable, it’s essential to be punctual and dressed in the proper uniform. Throughout the day, you may also be required to wear the hat of a local travel expert, sharing recommendations for restaurants, attractions, and how to get around - directly impacting our guest's experience in Townsend.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Make our guests' first and last impressions memorable by greeting them with enthusiasm and ensuring a hassle-free departure.
  • Streamline check-ins and check-outs, handling guest accounts with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Address guest requests and concerns promptly and within our company guidelines, always striving for a top-notch guest experience.
  • From taking phone reservations to mastering guest relations, keep our front-end operations running smoothly.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere, collaborating seamlessly with other departments and maintaining open communication channels.
  • Be the go-to for guests by knowing the ins and outs of the area – restaurants, theaters, attractions, and more – and offer stellar recommendations.
  • Ensure your workspace is always clean and organized while diligently following financial procedures, safety protocols, and handle guest packages with care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Savvy with basic computer applications. Familiar with the hotel's front desk system, Cloudbeds is a plus.
  • Able to work independently, attend department meetings and implement information into work tasks.
  • Physically capable of pacing movement during shifts up to 8 hours and lifting up to 15 pounds when necessary.
  • Able to learn and memorize various hotel room types, current inventory, packages, and local information.
  • Dedication to exceptional guest interactions – always greeting with a smile and a positive attitude.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, complying with our uniform standards and the guidelines outlined in the Employee Handbook, including tattoo and piercing policies.
  • Previous experience in a hotel front desk role and flexible availability, encompassing nights, weekends, and holidays, will set you apart.

Hourly Wage: $17 - $19 per hour based on experience and achievement

Schedule: 

  • Able to work 2nd shift hours with the flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Second shift hours are 3pm-11pm. Early shift end time is determined on demand.
